Video Content and Live Direction for Large Events

Welcome To All Things Marcia

After having a million different sites on the internet, for what seemed like a million different interests, I have finally decided to consolidate everything into one place.  This is my digital home for All Things Marcia!

Here I can talk about my different interests from producing video content, building social media marketing campaigns, directing live events, golf, traveling, cooking (yes, I can cook), watching TV, etc.!  This is my place to connect with the world under one heading.  Hope you enjoy and interact, because what is “social,” if it is only one way?

Well this is the About Me page, so here it goes…

I have lived in many places around the world, but I will always be a Philadelphia Girl.  Go Phillies/Eagles/Flyers/Sixers!  I now make my home on  the Left Coast, but still travel extensively for both work and personal trips.

I graduated from The American University in Washington, DC with a Bachelors in Communications – Television Journalism, and spent many years working in Washington DC in economic and business based news programming before going into the entertainment industry.  I have an extensive background in sports and live music working for the NFL Baltimore Ravens and some of the most renowned names in rock and roll.  I have a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Portland State University where I concentrated in Entrepreneurship and Marketing.

I have spent the past 20 years working on cutting edge ways to display and use video.  Whether it is as support for live concerts, sporting events, political programming or the new social media campaigns, I have been fortunate to be in the thick of these emerging trends.  I enjoy the challenge of finding new and innovative ways to use video for both live support and marketing opportunities.  My professional interests include working with startup companies and building social media through participatory marketing.  Please check out my blogs to learn more about these topics.
